This design gives the full day sun exposure and maximum drying time for all woods.  The building contains three x 4’ in wall commercial fans that circulate the warm air being produced by the corrugated roof and promotes even and complete drying.  The kiln building will hold up to approximately 5,000 lineal feet of varied woods.

The Kiln Building is 50’ long by 30’ wide = 1,500 sq. ft.

 

ADDITIONAL COVERED WORK AREA:  This area is used for dry wood storage after it has been in the kiln and also for specialty woodworking such as lathe work and prep for projects.  This is a concrete poured floor with Corrugated Metal Roof.  (this concrete floor has just recently been removed and re-poured.

SECURITY BUILDING:   This building was built in 2019 and serves to house the onsite security employee.  It is a concrete poured floor, wood structure with corrugated metal roof, dry wall interior walls and ceiling.  It has to security glass vented windows, ceiling fan and wall lighting.

Security Building is 12’ by 12’ = 144 sq. ft.

Electrical:   The property has all electrical availability including 3 phase electric.  The shop was rewired with new electrical wiring and boxes in 2014.
