near SPANISH LOOKOUT, CAYO DISTRICT
A 3-storey, strongly built, cement house structure overlooks the property. It has a large water tank and septic tank. Access to the property is good and there is electricity close by.
The land consists of some pasture, forest and jungle and is fenced around for cattle. It has frontage on the Belize River and also on Iguana Creek, which is a good-size all-year creek. The land has some rolling hills and views of the surrounding countryside. Over 300 exotic trees and medicinal shrubs were planted on the property and the fruit trees include tangerine, mango, breadfruit, avocado and papaya. There are many large trees on the property including mahogany, cedar, teak and cabbage bark.
There is much bird and wildlife on the property and an adjacent island in the river is an annual breeding ground for iguanas.
The property is ideally located about midway between San Ignacio and Belmopan, the capital of Belize. It also located adjacent to one of the few bridges that span the Belize River and has easy access to nearby Blackman Eddy Village and Spanish Lookout. Spanish Lookout is a Mennonite Community and has supermarkets, hardware stores, building materials, and many other services.
With a large amount of creek and river frontage, and because of its perfect location, this would make a ideal development project. Alternatively, with the large house, it could be a retreat, a resort, a farm or just a private estate for a buyer who likes space and privacy.
